A Samba Police spokesperson stated, “The three hardcore criminals, identified as Kunal Teji, son of Rakesh Kumar, Devinder Singh alias Deepu, son of Ashok Singh, and Sourav Singh Nagra, son of Sham Lal, have been involved in multiple criminal cases, posing a serious threat to public peace and tranquility.”

“Following their repeated engagement in criminal activities, detention orders were issued by the District Magistrate Samba based on detailed dossiers prepared by SSP Samba. The police teams, led by SHO PS Samba and SHO PS Ramgarh, successfully executed these warrants, leading to the incarceration of the accused in District Jail Kathua and District Jail Jammu respectively,” the spokesperson added. Highlighting the crackdown on drug trafficking, the spokesperson stated, “With the aim of curbing the illicit drug trade, Samba Police detained a notorious heroin supplier, Abdul Habib alias Bheem, son of Maon Din, a resident of Ladana tehsil Ramnagar district Udhampur, currently residing in Badheri, Nanak Chak tehsil & district Samba, under the PITNDPS Act.”

“Abdul Habib, known for spreading drug addiction within the community, was swiftly detained and confined to District Jail Kathua following the issuance of a detention order by the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu,” the spokesperson revealed. The spokesperson commended the efforts of the Samba Police, stating, “This successful operation marks a significant step towards ensuring the safety and well-being of the public and signifies Samba Police’s resolute stance against narcotics trafficking in the area.” The crackdown is expected to serve as a strong deterrent against criminal activities and drug trafficking in the region, sending a clear message that such offenses will be dealt with strictly and swiftly.
