Bharat Darshan under CAP concludes: ADGP Jammu flagged-in tour

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Jammu Mukesh Singh today flagged-in Bharat Darshan Tour of 58 youths including seven females under civic action programme (CAP).

A group of youngsters had a five-day visit (Bharat Darshan), and it was commenced on June 7, 2022 from DPL Jammu. “During the tour, youth travelled by air to Delhi where they visited places of historical importance like Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Police Museum, Akshardham Temple and Parliament”, Police Spokesperson said, adding that such kind of visits provide an opportunity to explore and understand the unity in diversity of the country along with helping in personality development of the youth.

“During the tour the participants had an interaction with Commissioner of Police Delhi Rakesh Asthana. During interactive session youth were motivated and guided by dignitaries to achieve higher goals in their life and contribute in every possible way towards nation building and serving our country. A lunch for the visiting youngsters was hosted by Delhi Police at its headquarter”, the spokesperson further said.

They were taken to Bangalore after Delhi’s visit, where they visited Devanahalli hills, Nandi Hills, Nandi Temple, Lal Baugh, Planeterium and Vishweshriah Industries and Technology Museum, the JKP Spokesperson said.

“ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh, flanked by SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli, today welcomed back the youths after Tour Programme at DPL Jammu and heard their experiences about the tour. Other officers present were SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta, Nodal Officer, SP North Kulbir Handa, SP OPS Naresh Singh, Dy. SP DAR DPL Jammu K.D. Bhagat, and SDPO South Sachit Sharma”, he said. ADGP Jammu Zone while interacting with the students told them that it was an opportunity for them to enhance their knowledge and the programme is aimed upon the idea of unity in diversity.
