According to the SIA, Khan is instrumental in several terrorist attacks and activities in Rajouri district. He is accused of activating sleeper cells and recruiting gullible youths to join LeT through the outfit’s over-ground workers with the motive of waging war against India.

An FIR (No. 05/2021) was registered against Khan and his associates Mohd Rafiq Khan and Gurpal Singh at the JIC/SIA Jammu police station under various sections of the UA(P) Act, Official Secrets Act, and the Indian Penal Code. The attached property, amounting to lakhs of rupees, is land recorded under Khasra No. 167 in Panjgrain village. It was identified by local revenue staff as being registered in Khan’s name.

The attachment was carried out by the SIA Jammu in compliance with orders from the designated court, following the framing of charges against all the accused persons involved in the case. This action is part of the ongoing efforts by security agencies to crack down on terrorist activities and their support networks in Jammu and Kashmir.
