However, penalty of deducting of one day salary out of the salary for the month of May, 2023 was imposed upon ACD Rajouri Vijay Kumar, BDO Qila Darhal Madan Mohan, the amount of penalty has to be deposited in the Red Cross Society Account before salary drawal
The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal went tough against unauthorisedly absent eight Block Development Officers (BDOs) different block of the district and the Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Rajouri for misleading the authorities and ordered that deducted salaries of BDOs and ACD would deposited in the Red Cross Society account.
“Strict Instructions have been issued from time to time from this office to the effect that no officer shall leave the Station HQ without prior permission of the competent authority. But Javed Ahmed BDO Dhangri, Aamir Choudhary BDO Darhal, Mohtasim Hanief BDO Khawas/Mohghala, Atul Mankotia BDO Budhal New, Sayela Mir BDO Panjgrain, Pardeep Kumar BDO Rajouri and Abdul Rashid Khawaja BDO (HQ) Rajouri proceeded to Jammu for attending training at Jammu w.e.f. from 11 to 12 May, 2023 and were supposed to be present on duty/ their respective Station HQ today on 13-05-2023 which they failed to do. Madan Mohan BDO Qila Darhal proceeded on exposure tour without seeking permission from the competent authority, which is clear-cut violation of Govt. instructions issued from time to time in this regard”, order issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri vide number DCR/2023-24/PA/63-68, dated 13/05/2023 read.
“The ACD Rajouri has submitted incorrect attendance of BDOs showing the absent BDOs as present on their HQ which shows non-seriousness/casual approach in performing his legitimate duties of reporting. The unauthorized absence from duty/Station HQ without prior permission of the competent authority which is serious violation of instructions of the Govt. in this regard. Therefore, before taking any disciplinary action, the aforementioned officers are directed to explain their position for such casual approach within two days positively”, the order further read.
Meanwhile, a penalty of deducting of half day salary out of the salary for the month of May, 2023 was imposed upon the seven BDOs. “It has been observed that most of the BDOs and their subordinates are marking their attendance from the office of ACD/ACP/DPO/Xen. REW instead of their respective offices. Strict warning is hereby issued to the concerned officers/officials to shun this practice immediately and be particular in marking their attendance from their respective offices only”, the order further added.
