Bar Association Jammu stages vociferous protest today and abstain from work in all the courts seeking housing of CAT, DRT, AFT and registration works in multi-dimensional complex In HC Janipur Jammu. Young Lawyers Association supporting the Bar Association Jammu in staging protest and the YLA says they will continue support the Bar Association till the fulfilment of their demands

The Jammu Kashmir High Court, Bar Association (JKHCBA) Jammu today continue their protest in support of their charter of demands which they divulged the administration failed to conceded the demands which they presented before the LG also by way of Memorandum several months back. Despite waiting for several months that administration fulfilled their charter of demands but to our disdain and chagrin administration not moved an inch and fulfilled our demands as such Bar Association Jammu came on roads to acquainted the administration to do the needful within shortest possible time failing which bar association warned that they will hit the roads in the days to come.
Bar Association Jammu first assembled in the district court complex and chanted Slogans against the administration to do Justice with us adding, and after that lawyers’ fraternity came out of the district court complex with Indian flags in their hands amidst chanting of slogans which rented the air. Then Bar Association blocked the road at Janipur Chowk enroute to court for one hour in protest against the government who are not fulfilling the genuine demands of the Lawyers fraternity.
Due to the blockade of the road, there took place chronic traffic Jams on the Janipur road and police face hardships in regulating the traffic. While Speaking on the occasion, Bar President and Senior Advocate MK Bhardwaj categorically stated “We staged our protest for second time today as on first day we staged protest in the premises of the court complex and on that day, we warned the government to fulfill our demands failing which we would intensify our protests.”
“Today, We came on roads as a mark of protest and blocked the road so that the administration which is in deep slumber do the needful at the earliest, Bar President divulged adding, Due to the shifting of the courts and tribunals outside the district court complex lawyers fraternity are facing insurmountable hardships as such we are seeking the housing of the different tribunals in single multi-dimensional complex of High court and there is adequate space available in the court complex”Bar President vehemently asserted.
Bar President further said they will seek the support of the Chamber, different organisations, unemployed youths, daily wagers in intensifying their protests in the days to come if the government not fulfilled our demands, he added. Bar Association categorically stated that not lawyers even the litigants also facing piquant situation which arisen post article 370 as the different tribunals and courts shifted outside the district court complex Janipur.
Young Lawyers Association (YLA) also supported the Bar association Jammu in their protests and even Lawyers seen during protests standing on the vehicles with flags in their hands seeking the fulfillment of their demands. “Even the litigants came to us with a hope that the through lawyers they will get Justice from the courts but when those Who gives the Justice their demands government not fulfilled then it is really baffling and befuddling” a group of Lawyers turning tables against the administration that the administration turned Nelson’s eye towards their demands since several months which is really an irony and even mocked at the slogans of Sabka saath, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka vikas which the government beaten the trumpet of it time and again. Lawyers’ fraternity categorically warned that if the administration not do the needful by tomorrow then they would intensify their protests in the coming days and even also call for the Jammu bandh by taking into confidence different organisations and chamber in support of their demands.
