As the schools are charging from their students twenty rupees for the purpose of Har Ghar Tiranga. Students are demanding from their parents, twenty rupees that their school administration demanded for the purpose.

Now, the moot question arises for consideration is that whether any order passed by the Government enjoined upon the schools to charged twenty rupees from students. In counterpart Kashmir one of the Chief Education Officer on the compliance of his Zonal Education officer directed the students of the schools to paid twenty rupees for Har Ghar Tiranga. In pursuance to this such impugned order there is widespread backlash on the social media where in even former CM also reacted sharply to this order which forced the students to paid twenty rupees. Not only that after public outcry order has been set aside by the CEO then.

Parents in Jammu while talking to the Hidden News launching scathing attack upon the School administration that they of their own charged twenty rupees when there is no such order by the government, they rued adding, when in Kashmir schools are not charging twenty rupees so why we would paid these schools administration twenty rupees, parents fumes over the arbitrary diktat of the schools that they under the garb of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative for their ulterior motives charging twenty rupees from their students which is really astonishing and baffling rather schools administration in order to swindled money they are charging twenty rupees, they lamented.

Parents seeking the indulgence of the Principal Secretary to School Education Department, that issue an order whereby this school administration charging twenty rupees to be directed not demand twenty rupees because purportedly schools’ administration in order to fill their own coffers demanding twenty rupees.

“By charging twenty rupees from every student from class nursery till Class 12th in the private schools in particular parents regretted adding, where they have to install the Tirangas on their schools’ roof atop but thousands of students are studying in respective schools so buying Tiranga from the money of respective students that is twenty rupees which the respective students gave. Where shall those Tirangas be affixed, parents asked this million-dollar question which begs answer?

Har Ghar Tiranga is a initiative of the Indian government to affixed flags on the atop of the homes of the whole public in run upto the Independence Day 15th August 2022 in order to invoke the sense of patriotism amongst the public at large.

Parents opined that it is beyond one’s comprehension as to why the students being told to shell out money twenty rupees adding, for which the government needs to come clear on it and not grope parents in dark. Students enrolled in the government schools are poorer as such they face precarious situation to pay the twenty rupees.

Social activist wishing anonymity, while training guns against the schools’ administration for demanding Twenty rupees from the students which he said adding, is totally unwarranted, uncalled for and the government require to direct these private Schools as well as government schools to desist from charging twenty rupees in the interest of students at large “he maintained.

“Government need to act sooner before it’s too late as the schools are charging the twenty rupees and parents are also irked, irate over this illogical order of the school’s administration”, Social Activist seek the order be pass by the government at the earliest that private school administration as well as government schools shall not charge twenty rupees.

Elaborating further, Social Activist in question minced no words in saying that instead of demanding twenty rupees from the students better would be that on the auspicious occasion on Independence Day students be directed to brings Flags with them which would be considered to be augur well for the parents also and not perturbed them the way they ridiculing the move of schools’ administration, he advised.

Talking to the Hidden News, Director School Education Jammu Dr. Ravikant Sharma said, “I have not passed any such order from my office in regard to charge Twenty rupees from the students for the purpose of Har Ghar Tiranga initiative. But there is central government initiative which mandated to collect Twenty rupees from the citizens coupled with rural department across the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir deployed nodal officers also in this regard of Har Ghar Tirnga initiative.”

Sharma, vehemently replied to a query of this scribe as to whether his office has passed any order directing the private schools to charge twenty rupees from the students.

He categorically stated that as we used to unfurl National Flags on the eve of Independence Day he said adding, he reiterated that he not passed any such order but quick to add there is possibility that District Administration, Jammu might have issued an order in respect of charging twenty rupees from the students so better for you would be to contact the district administration. When contacted DC Jammu Avny Lavasa (IAS) to ascertain as to whether the district administration has issued any order, she hung up the call.
