First time in the history we got the leadership, that believe in transparency and accountability, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and the Chairperson J&K Waqf Board (Minister of State J&K), Dr Darakhshan Andrabi respectability, we urge them conduct a high level prove to unearth the wrong doing of past’s administration in the Muslim Specified Wakfs and Specified Properties (MSWSP), as crores of rupees have been shipped off by corrupt officers and the back door appointments made during last three years should be brought in the public. Some individuals, approached The Hidden News to expose the unholy nexus of some officers and the middle men who ruined, the prestigious and religious institution for their vested interests. “Around 40 backdoor appointments have been made last three years by the then administration. Since the day Dr Darakhshan Andrabi took over their rein as chairperson of J&K Waqf Board, she has taken necessary reforms required for the betterment of this institutions”, the members of civil society, told The Hidden News and that it was their duty to highlight these wrong doing by the previous administration, so that the loopholes could be fixed.
