“My father died in the year 2019 and I have my ancestral uncle also who too are co sharers to my ancestral land situated at Chak Bhagwan Akhnoor. As my uncle attacked on me one after the other after the death of my father in order to grab the ancestral property in question. Sensing the gravity of the situation even moved a complaint before the Tehsildar Khour and SHO Kour for conducting demarcation of the ancestral land but to my utter dismay and chagrin despite the passage of six months nothing concrete has been done so far which Triggered anger against the administration and the Police for not conducting demarcation, Dharminder Singh asserted.
Elaborating further, he said that today he filed a suit of division of ancestral property before the Tehsildar Khour but the Tehsildar neither granted any stay nor granted any next date in such case which speaks volumes as how casual the Tehsildar in question that despite vested with the powers under land revenue act of doing division of properties which are not divided adding, due to the apathetic and indifferent attitude of the Tehsildar Khour made to suffer as my uncle encroached the land. Without partition of the property, one can’t grab the land if there are co sharers.
He recalled that even he moved an application before the former Deputy Commissioner Jammu Anshul Garg on 31st December 2021 with GR No A 40674 and paid fees of Rs 1100 for conducting demarcation of my ancestral land bearing khasra no 478 measuring 5 kanals and 5 marlas,Khasra no 628 measuring 4 kanals and Khasra no 453 measuring 6 kanals. Despite the Deputy Commissioner directed the SDM Akhnoor to verify and report to this office but it’s an irony several months passed but to no avail this much is lacklustre approach prevailing upon the officials of the revenue departments from SDM Akhnoor till Patwari who not cared to compliance with the directive of their Top babu. Copy of the revenue documents and the different applications moved by the Dharminder Singh before the administration and the Police is in possession of this scribe.
It’s an irony that three applications of mine have been with the Tehsildar Khour for conducting demarcation of the land. But once the Tehsildar Khour deployed the concerned officials to conducted the inspection and it has been done but out of the demarcation nothing has been done meaning thereby that no fruitful result came out of the demarcation which it should be.
Dharminder Singh vehemently said that he sent a message to the former Deputy Commissioner Jammu on his WhatsApp when he saw that the revenue officials are working at the behest of his uncle adding, then he thought of apprised the former DC Jammu that he is ready to takes law into his own hands given the revenue officials Conniving with the Dhunda Ram to this DC did prompt message to the SDM Akhnoor and he called me up to appeared before me. But in pursuance to the deliverance of the message of the SDM Akhnoor I appeared before his office number of times but SDM Akhnoor not found in his office. Dharminder Singh went to extent of saying that if the administration not does the needful within shortest possible time, then he would take law into his own hands for which the administration be held responsible for any law-and-order problem. “ Hon’ble LG Sir, I’m being forced for self-immolation, but I will not succumb.
