Attack on Army camp in Rajouri:Two Terrorists Neutralised, four Bravehearts of Indian army made Supreme Sacrifice

Indian Army express solidarity with the Martyr Rifleman Nishant Malik who succumbs to injuries  while bravely fighting and eliminating with Terrorist and Indian Army stands shoulder to Shoulder with the Family members in this hour of grief

Ahead of the 75th year of Independence Day which is round the corner when security agencies are on toes, Alert Jawans of indian Army today thwarted the nefarious designs of terrorist  at Parghal  of District Rajouri, (J&K) when the Jawans noticed the suspicious movements of terrorist when they approaching their post while taking advantage of the inclement weather and dense foliage. Upholding the valour these Jawans who challenged the two terrorists who threw grenade while attempting to gain entry inside the post. However alert troops cordoned off the area and engaged them in a fire fight thereby killed them. In the ensuing encounter, two terrorists were neutralised. Six soldiers of Indian Army were injured in the operation out of which, three Bravehearts succumbed to their injuries while repulsing this suicide attack by terrorists. 

The valiant soldiers made the supreme sacrifice upholding the highest tradition of the Indian Army.

• Sub Rajendra Prasad, resident of Village- Maligoven, PO- Kashim Pura, District- Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan). 

• Rifleman Lakshmanan D, resident of Village- T Pudupatti, PO- Thummakundu, District- Madurai (Tamil Nadu).

• Rifleman Manoj Kumar, resident of Village- Shahjahanpur, PO- Chandpur, District- Faridabad (Haryana).

Indian Army salute the Bravehearts, for their supreme sacrifice in line of duty. The Nation will always remain indebted to them for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty.

Rifleman Nishant Malik who was grievously injured while bravely fighting with the terrorists succumbs to his injuries. Indian Army expressed its solidarity with the Family members and stands shoulder to shoulder in this hour of grief.
