Chaos erupted at the Sarwal Police Post on Saturday evening when a group of around 20-25 goons forcibly took an arrested individual from police custody.

The accused, identified as Parth Khanna, had been apprehended earlier by the police and brought to the Sarwal Post for further investigation. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when the group of goons arrived and aggressively demanded Khanna’s release.

“We were taking the accused for a medical test when this group attacked our police party and ran away with the accused,” revealed a police officer present at the scene. “They completely disregarded police instructions and protocol.”

Despite efforts by the officers to maintain order and carry out necessary procedures, the situation rapidly escalated as the goons persisted, leading to clashes with the police personnel. Ultimately, they succeeded in forcibly extracting Khanna from custody amidst the chaotic scenes.

The brazen attack has raised serious concerns about the rule of law and the audacity of criminal elements to challenge law enforcement authorities. An FIR has been registered, and a manhunt is currently underway to re-apprehend the accused individual as well as identify and arrest those involved in the attack on police.

“We will get them soon,” asserted the police officer, undeterred by the incident. “Such blatant defiance of the law will not be tolerated.” The incident has sparked discussions around the need for enhanced security measures and stringent actions against those who undermine the justice system through such acts of violence and lawlessness.
