The Jammu Police has arrested a hardcore lady drug peddler from the Bakshinagar area of City.
In an official statement, the police revealed that a team from Police Station Bakshinagar, headed by Inspector Satvir Singh under the supervision of SDPO City West Jammu Zaheer Abbas Jafri, and SP North Jammu Shivam Sidarth, conducted a thorough investigation which led to the arrest of the drug peddler.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sudesh Kumari, wife of Subash Chander, a resident of Rajiv Basti, Reshamghar Colony in Jammu. “A house search was conducted at her residence in the presence of Executive Magistrate Jammu, leading to the recovery of narcotic contraband substances,” the police statement read.
Accordingly, a case under FIR No. 41/2024 has been registered against the accused under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Bakshinagar. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
