‘Director School Education Jammu impress upon Staff of School Education and Officers to make vibrant atmosphere in Government Schools
Fit india celebrated foundation day on the occasion of sports day at Director School Education office Jammu. Nodal officer Fit india, Gourav Sharma and Sunita Verma yog teacher from Kathua also present on the Occasion.
Chief guest on the occasion was Director School Education Dr Ravi Kant Sharma.
National Yog olympiad took place on 18 th to 20 June where in Students from different schools of different districts that was Doda, Samba, Kathua participated in the prestigious event. Total there were sixteen students participated eight boys and eight girls. This even held at NCERT Delhi.
In his Presidential address, Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Kant Sharma appreciated the officers and staff of the education department for inculcating the spirits of Yoga amongst the students which will go long way in helping the students to remain physically fit and strong by doing Yoga every day.
“Yoga keeps our body and soul free from any types of diseases and enjoined upon the staff of the schools to ensure that Yoga be done by the students ” he divulged adding, heaped praised upon the staff of the different schools for developing the sportsmanship amongst the students which is really a commendable Job done by you. There is need for you while referring to the officers of the education department when they visited the Government schools ensure that the students be provided with basic infrastructure and they not be deprived of the same so that the development of the students takes place properly and which would surely help the students when they passed out from the schools that good habits, discipline and good growths being infused into them which would help them to achieve heights in their life”he lamented.
“There is dire need to ensure cordial and vibrant atmosphere to be developed in the Government schools coupled with cultural programmes be organized so that students take part in those cultural programmes,Director School Education Dr Ravi Kant Sharma stressed adding, this would brings change in the students activities and they become well acquainted with these cultural activities which would be of utmost necessary as only academic study would make the students a dull boy and there body can’t become mentally strong and fit”he maintained.
Director School Education Dr Ravi Kant Sharma said that as staff from the different schools came here in from different districts that Doda, Kishtwar ,and Reasi and they be implored upon that in their respective schools if there is dearth of any facilities and infrastructure so the same take up the Chief Education officers (CEO) so that these gullible students can’t suffer on account of basic facilities rather it’s our bounden duty that students be provided with vibrant atmosphere so that students can excel in their studies coupled with also participate in the difference games and as that of Yoga also.
“He further directed the staff of the government schools that is principles ensure that in play way schools, primary schools students not burdened with studies rather gives home work less so that can with free mind understand the study as I found myself that in these Play way schools students carried heavy satchels on their back and also given much task which would not help these students when they overburdened “Director Dr Ravi Kant asserted.
Director School Education Dr Ravi Kant then presented certificates to the students of the different schools who participated in the National olympiad and appreciated them for taking part in this event.
Nodal officer Gourav Sharma as well as Sunita Verma, Yog Teacher were escort team which had accompanied these students to the National olympiad event.
