Government Degree Collage (GDC) Kalakote observed World Aids day on Friday, the program was conducted to create awareness among the students related to the spread of this fatal and infectious HIV/AIDS disease. The program was organized under the patronage of Principal Professor Dr. Seema Arora.
During the program, a quiz competition was organized to judge the knowledge of this disease among the students. The competition showcased the enthusiastic participation of the students.
At the end of the program, the Principal of the College Professor Dr. Seema Arora emphasized the importance of this Day which helps dispel the myths and reduce stigma in the community. She further stated that these collaborative efforts and community-led initiatives will in turn foster a sense of responsibility among the participants.
