J&K Govt need to go tough against the private schools says Parents

In the backdrop of the passing of an order by the Directorate of the school education in regards to the compliance with central government guidelines on heavy school bags, Inspection teams who visited the private schools in order to ascertain the factual check about the imposition of the heavy bags made fleeced by the administration of the private schools as school administration reportedly concealed the material facts from the inspection team.

A group of parents revealed that their children disclosed that the school’s administration directed them adding, as the inspection team come so whatever they asked you dished out the reply to them whatever we conveyed to you same be replied to them.

“Students of the private schools being tutored by the school administration that if they asked you about the books tell them we bought from the book sellers of our choice” they rued adding, school administration not forced us to bought the books from the particular shops. When asked you about the bags weight tell them that our school comply with the order as since few days we bring the bag of low weight same which has been mentioned in the order. Students rued directive of their school’s administration caught them in a fix as what to do as we are being compelled by them to speak blatant lie which we not made prior” they lamented.

Parents further lamented that this inspection team left the schools administration high and dry given the fear psychosis developed in them adding, which constrained them to coerce the students to reply the queries of the inspection team in an affirmative way.

“As the private schools administration like prior this time also the school education department can’t implement the order on ground but visit of the inspection team rap the knuckles on the private schools rather better to say it rattled the school’s administration which never they expected that the executing authority would visit the private schools” they asserted. “Even the fees structure that is the admission fees and tuition fees that has also been taken by the private schools administration at their whims and fancies throwing the sanctity of the government order to dustbin. Parents perturbed over the functioning of these private schools as they are not complying the government order resultant there in we have to bear the brunt for no fault of ours. Such is the sorry state of affairs of the school education department that parents have to cough up their hard-earned money as unnecessary burden cast upon our shoulders” they rued.

One of the social Activist pleading anonymity while taking a dig against the private schools vociferously lamented that now education has become commercial business given the unprecedented hike in the fees structure which affected the parents budget immensely. “For a common man it would be difficult task for them to teach their students in private schools adding, as the unholy nexus prevailing between the book sellers and private schools wreaks havoc on the gullible parents”, he categorically stated while urge his excellency to do the needful for the parents who caught in a devil and deep sea to relieve of the hardships they face at the hands of the private schools.

Reports pouring in from the different quarters revealed that the private schools have prescribed the books at their sweet will which can be evident from the fact the costly books ranging about Rs 300 one book and cross Rs 500 of class 5th. It is pertinent to mention here in that despite order by the school education department that students be teach JKBOSE books very few private schools who have complied with the order of the government as such need has arisen for the government to activate its team and machinery to make surprise checks in the private schools in the presence of executive magistrates so that deterrent be acts for them and sense of implementing the government be infuse in them. Sooner the government acts the better it would be in the interest of the gullible parents who are shedding under the great load of Private schools.

Official in the Government wishing anonymity divulged that yes we have constituted the inspection team adding, which would be intensify in the days to come as we intend to adopt the tough stance against these private schools who have made the life of the parents miserable” he vehemently replied to the scribe in question. “Those private schools who misled the inspection team they will stern action, official warned as quick to add that already it has been specifically mentioned in the order any private schools who violated the order that would be viewed seriously”, he maintained.
