The R.S. Pura Police of district Jammu have booked the most wanted and dreaded criminal in the sub-division, Yudhvir Singh alias Bablu, under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA).
He has been detained and subsequently lodged in the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal, Jammu. The detained criminal, Yudhvir Singh, son of Aya Singh, a resident of Old Agra Chak, Tehsil R.S. Pura, District Jammu, has been booked under the PSA after obtaining formal detention orders from the District Magistrate, Jammu.
Yudhvir Singh, notorious for his involvement in a series of heinous crimes, including murder, attempted murder, and promoting criminal activities in the area using illegal arms, has been a perpetual offender. Despite being implicated in numerous FIRs, he remained undeterred and continued his criminal pursuits.
Despite being granted bail by the Court on multiple occasions, Yudhvir Singh did not mend his ways and persisted with his criminal activities. In order to curb his nefarious actions and prevent him from engaging in further criminal activities, a dossier (PSA) was recommended against him, upon which the District Magistrate, Jammu, issued a PSA warrant for his detention.
The arrest was made by the R.S. Pura Police Station, headed by the Station House Officer (SHO), assisted by the In-charge BPP Agra Check, under the close supervision of the SDPO R.S. Pura, SP Headquarters Jammu, and the overall supervision of the SSP Jammu. The locals of the area have appreciated the efforts of the Police in curbing criminal activities in the region. The crackdown on Yudhvir Singh is a part of the Jammu Police’s ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
