Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday announced “Kejriwal ki Guarantee,” listing 10 works that will be done on a war-footing, including freeing Indian land from Chinese occupation, if the opposition INDIA bloc forms the government at the Centre.

A day after his release from jail on interim bail, Kejriwal said the INDIA bloc, comprising parties such as the AAP, Congress, Trinamool Congress, and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, will form the next government, and his party will be a part of it.
Addressing a press conference, Kejriwal said people will have to choose between “Modi ki Guarantee” and “Kejriwal ki Guarantee,” the latter being a “brand”. He clarified that he had not discussed the guarantees with his INDIA bloc partners but would press upon them to fulfill these promises.
Among the 10 guarantees, Kejriwal vowed to provide 24×7 power supply, good education and health facilities, and arrange two crore jobs for youths every year. “We worked on management to ensure 24×7 power supply in Punjab and Delhi. We can do it in the entire country,” he said.
Kejriwal also promised to end the Agnipath scheme and ensure that farmers receive the minimum support price (MSP) for their crops as per the Swaminathan Commission’s recommendations. “Rashtra Sarvopari is our guarantee. China has occupied our land, and we will free it from their occupation,” he asserted. Statehood for Delhi, dismantling the BJP’s “washing machine” that inducts corrupt people, and creating a system for hassle-free trade and business were among the other guarantees listed by Kejriwal.
The AAP leader contrasted his guarantees with those of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, “Modi has not fulfilled his guarantees.” Kejriwal, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi excise policy scam case, was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court on Friday.
The INDIA bloc, formed to challenge the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, has yet to respond to Kejriwal’s announcement.
