At least nine persons were died while a steel bride collapsed due to land slide in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. According to eyewitness multiple landslides took place near Batseri on Sangla-Chikul road. “Heavy boulder fell on passenger vehicles carrying 11 people and reportedly nine of them were killed while three are critically injured in the incident”, the eyewitness said. A steel bridge that came under the landslide was badly destroyed and fell in the river. Locals and the Kinnaur Police carried out rescue operations.
