A Doda resident misleading BJP State President, Ravinder Raina get his recommendation addressed to ADGP Jammu for transfer of a SPO from Jammu Kishtwar, whoever, after media reports over this issue, the BJP chief has withdrawn his recommendation and requested SSP Jammu to initiate criminal proceeding against youth, who narrated a concocted story.
‘It is brought in your kind notice that on 16th of May 2023 one, Shubham Singh resident of Bhagwa, District Doda who is presently residing at Panjtirth Jammu came to my office with a representation from the parents of a Police SPO namely Dalject Singh, whom he claimed as his cousin brother and requested to help in his transfer from Jammu to Kishtwar on humanitarian grounds”, J&K BJP Chief wrote to SSP Jammu.
“As per the statement of Shubliam Singh both the parents of said Police SPO are bed ridden and they urgently need medical treatment and said police SPO the being only son can take care of them. In view of the said representation, I made a request to the Senior Officer to look into this matter on humanitarian grounds and help the said police SPO so that he may take care of his ailing parents”, Raina further claimed in his letter and added, “Later on, he came to know that it was totally a concocted story and misrepresentation made by Shubham Singh with a malafied intention to harass the said SPO as he is nowhere in any kind of family relationship with the said SPO.”
“It is requested to your goodself to kindly initiate the criminal proceedings against Shubam Singh under rule of law”, Raina added in his letter, addressed to SSP Jammu. It is pertinent to mention here that, some sections of media blamed Ravinder Rain for recommending transfer of the SPO from Jammu to Kishtwar, claiming that the SPO fined Shubam Singh, who was a BJP worker, and to teach lesson, SPO was made scapegoat by the politicians.
