The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has released a comprehensive schedule of planned power interruptions affecting multiple areas across the Jammu region in the coming days. These temporary outages are likely part of routine maintenance or upgrade works to ensure the long-term reliability of the power distribution network.

According to the Chief Engineer (Distribution) of JPDCL Jammu, residents of Kastigarh, Bhagwa, Dessa, and nearby areas should prepare for a power cut on June 25 from 6 AM to 2 PM. The following day, June 26, will see a similar outage in Dhara, Gundana, and surrounding localities during the same hours.

On June 27, the areas of Prem Nagar, Chiralla, Malwana, and vicinity will experience a power interruption from 6 AM to 2 PM. Additionally, a shorter outage is scheduled for Pancheri, Meer, Lander Meer Katti, Mongri, Pathi, Mansar, Railway, and adjacent areas on the same day from 6 AM to 11 AM.

The Executive Engineer of Electrical Division-I JPDCL, Parade Jammu, has announced that Lower Gummat will face power cuts on June 25 and 26, while Upper Gummat will be affected on June 27 and 28. These outages are slated for 7 AM to 11 AM on their respective days.

Furthermore, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL, O&M Circle Kathua, has outlined a series of power interruptions for several areas:

– Jakh and surroundings: June 26 and 29, 5 AM to 10 AM

– Dadyal, Nanga, and vicinity: June 25, 27, 29, and July 1, 5 AM to 10 AM

– Sarore and nearby areas: June 25 and 27, 5 AM to 10 AM

– Jogpur, Industry, and adjoining regions: June 25, 5 AM to 9 AM

Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions during these scheduled outages.
