There seems to be no let-up in sexually related incidents in Kashmir. This is second such incident in Kashmir after a week. Prior to that it was also Principal of the school being arrested who habitual of sexually molested students and teachers. How can Female students feel secure given the recurring sexually molested cases reported in Kashmir one after another.
What is matter of grave concern is that the Female molestation taking place in none other than Education department. As the teachers are considered to be next to God. It’s the school from where the students properly groom after home. But when such type of incidents reported this will sent the alarm bells ringing that sending the Females to schools has now become a risky as there remains every apprehension of reporting such incidents.
We can’t related such incidents to take place in other educational institutions but when it is being committed by the teachers who are duty bound to discharged their duty with utmost dedication and devotion. If they violated the professional norms of the teaching this will surely spells doom and not less than that. The present scenario which is prevailing across the World is an eye opener for all of us as awkward incidents are being reported. If one can peep into the same and do introspection it can observed that there taking environment change. Sometimes rain and sometimes scorching temperature when in peak summer rain hardly occurred.
Even Police has booked the Arabic teacher in question under the relevant provisions of the law. As there is special Law which has been enacted that is Protection of children’s from the sexual offences (POSCO) meaning there by those children’s who are victims of sexual acts their cases being heard in the court specially designated courts POSCO. The very intent of POSCO court is that fast track disposal of the Cases so that these children’s who are victims in their advanced age of their life they get justice from the courts. Given the upward trend in the POSCO cases which needs dire introspection for the society as a whole how to deal with this offence of the POSCO as the children’s being ravished by these accused persons despite they aware that there is particular law in vogue which dealt with the POSCO crime. Our society as a whole comprising of Intelligentsia class require to wake from deep slumber given the surge in sexual exploitation cases reported in different corners of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir so that before our Females children’s further become victims they feel safe and secure. The moot question arisen for sympathetic consideration at this crucial juncture why the cases of sexual exploitation being reported without any fear of the law.
Teachers who resorted to such devilish acts they don’t have any fear of the law. It apparently looks so given the acts they have committed. What was the Fault of these Minor students? They being harassed and molested for the sole reason they are minor and they silently faced the sexual acts under pressure rather they don’t know well about the acts as how barbaric it is. Parents are also required to keep vigil on their children’s that they are not subjected to such illegal acts which has become order of the day. Whenever any Students Or any Female subjected to molestation they should report the matter to police forthwith. Law enforcement agencies are required to carry on the professional duties with exemplary courage dedication coupled with exhibit sense of display professionalism so that Public reposed trust in them. Even our Police Chief time and again reiterated to the Police official’s to discharge their duties in a professional manner to the utmost integrity, dedication in order to take the police department to higher levels. There is dire need to rise to the occasion and condemned such acts by the civil society as a whole irrespective of caste, colour and creed so that it acts deterrent for the society particularly for those whose intent and motto is to commit such acts.
