As our five Bravehearts made supreme sacrifice, avoiding collateral damage during an encounter with foreign terrorists, in the Bajimal area recently, recollecting the fierce encounter, a nomadic woman said they (Indian Army men) laid down their lives to save us.

Five Army men, including two officers lost their lives in a fierce gun battle in the Bajimal area of the Kalakote area of Rajouri district in J&K. Trained in Afghanistan, duo terrorists of Pakistan were eliminated by Indian Army.

The nomadic family reportedly laid a temporary shed in the Bajimal area of the Kalakote area, as part of their seasonal migration. While narrating the woeful tale, the nomadic woman and her son minced no words in saying that till their last breath, they would be thankful to our martyred, brave men, who were not bothered about their lives and did the fighting with the terrorists”, she vehemently maintained.

“Praying to almighty that martyred army men would get peace in the next world and I would never forget them for the sacrifice they had given for us. I expressed my heartfelt condolences to martyred army men and reiterated that she would remember them till her last breadth”, the nomadic woman said, while talking to the media persons on Saturday in the Gulabgarh area, amidst deep sorrow and pain over the killing of them.

Another youth of the same nomadic family is too indebted to the martyred brave men adding, we have our cousin here residing and survived by one minor daughter and minor son. I was not here prior but came to know today about the killing of these brave army men. We are really indebted to martyred army men that our family members survived because of them. I am thankful to the Captain Martyred Army men and their brave men who saved our wives and daughters.
