Yogasana Sports Association organise Yoga Competition: students awarded

Third District Kathua Yogasana Sports Association organized Yoga competition in Kathua. Eighty Students from Fifteen schools participated in the Yoga Competition.

Chief Guest on the auspicious occasion was Yoga instructor Sunita Verma whereas Guest of Honour was SSP Kathua R. C. Kotwal and Tabinda Shiekh. In her presidential address, Sunita Verma While addressing the Students dwelt upon the dire need that given the present set of circumstances when our life being much relied upon the digital technologies with the advancement in the different vistas of life as such there is need that in order to keep our body physically fit and mentally  we should every day do Yoga in the morning so that we keep our diseases at bay “She exhorted upon the students who come to participate in the Yoga from the different schools that this is high time as you are at your infancy stage of life as such if you start doing yoga from now it would surely help you in long run.

“Sunita Verma who also run a Yoga centre at her home where in she imparted Yoga aasan to the people who turned up to her Yoga centre and even also Sunita on google meet in the morning gives a link adding, Where in several people from across the different districts Joined her in doing Yogas for which her dedication and devotion yielding results with people now learning the art of Yoga with her sheer interest which is really a good initiative on the part of Yog Instructor Sunita Verma”.

District President Yogasana Sports Association Ram Gopal said, “These types of programmes will be conducted in the different districts of the kathua in the days to come. The motoo of organizing such programmes is to make students acquainted with the Yoga skills as you know Yoga very beneficial for the human body for its better growth and fitness as such we are organized such events so that students be kept physically fit and Strong, he maintained. Yoga Asanas conducted by the different students and later awards and prizes were distributed amongst them in order to boost their morale of doing Yoga With dedication. Others present on the occasion were Angrez Singh and Sahil Gupta Yoga Instructors.
